The Power of Cannabis for Women Over 50

Broadcast on June 16, 2020
With Dr. Lakisha Jenkins
Hosted by Sabrina Chaw

As we age, special consideration must be given to achieving and maintaining homeostasis, or balance, in the body and mind. Dr. Lakisha will share the potent ways we can achieve this through the use of phytocannabinoids (cannabinoids that occur naturally in the cannabis plant). Discover how to best know what forms and delivery systems (smoke, edibles, tinctures, etc) are right for you, and how to create a practice of holistic wellness that not only gives your body what she needs, but aids your soul’s sense of inner peace, as well.

In This Session:

  • Discover the nutritional value, benefits, and considerations in choosing the right phytocannabinoids and forms for your particular needs
  • Know the difference between bodily "cravings" and "addiction" in the use of these substances, and how to empower your usage of them
  • Empower yourself on the sources, doses and methods in using phytocannabinoids
The views expressed are specific to the author/speaker and may vary from the perspectives of The Shift Network's participants, staff, or other speakers.
